Google is rolling out three new agentic safety features inside Ads Advisor, the AI agent embedded in Google Ads, according to a post by Priya Baliga, Senior Engineering Director, Ad Platforms. The first feature, proactive troubleshooting, introduces Real-Time Policy Reviews that provide in-workflow guidance as advertisers create and edit campaigns. Beyond that, Ads Advisor will proactively scan accounts and websites when issues arise, identify the root cause, offer a clear resolution path, and confirm the fix is in place before an appeal is submitted — targeting even the most complex policy violations.
The second feature is 24/7 security monitoring, which addresses the historically manual and time-consuming process of auditing user access in Google Ads accounts.
The second feature is 24/7 security monitoring, which addresses the historically manual and time-consuming process of auditing user access in Google Ads accounts. Ads Advisor will continuously monitor accounts and surface personalized recommendations such as reviewing flagged domains and removing dormant users. A new security insights dashboard will show advertisers how adopting those suggestions improves their protection level, and users can query their current status by prompting "show me my security level." Google is also bringing passkeys to Google Ads as an additional layer of account protection, eliminating the need for passwords and codes.
The third feature targets the certifications process, which has historically required weeks of manual paperwork. Ads Advisor, built with Gemini capabilities, will proactively determine whether a business needs a certificate based on its industry and country, then either grant it automatically or request additional details if needed — compressing the timeline to instant approvals.
